One of my favorite things to do is connect with the next generation of designers, which is why I’ve been thrilled to visit Arizona State University on several occasions to teach students about Figma. As someone who’s passionate about design systems and the tools that make them work, it’s so rewarding to share what I’ve learned and see that spark of discovery in others.
During these sessions, I’ve walked students through Figma’s powerful features—from creating prototypes to building components and exploring the foundations of design systems. My goal is to not only teach them the tools but also to show them how Figma can simplify collaboration and make their creative visions a reality.
I love seeing students gain confidence in their skills and start to think about how they’ll tackle design challenges in their own unique way. Their curiosity and enthusiasm are a constant source of inspiration for me, and I’m grateful for the chance to give back to a community that played such a big role in my own journey.
If you’re an ASU student (or just curious about design systems or Figma), let’s connect—I’d love to chat and share more!
